ANGIE- The funeral arrangements for Lillie Barr Sheridan Alford, of Angie, have
been completed.
She died Friday at her residence. She was 111 years old.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Ethel and Argell Walker of Angie;
one son, Ezekiel Sheridan of Bogalusa; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five
great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Noble Sheridan and Frank Sam; three sisters,
Johnnie Harry, Lilah Pearson, Theressa Brumfield; one brother, Hurley Barr; two
granddaughters, Arlethia Sheridan and Wanda Sheridan; one grandson, Rozzie
Walker; one great- grandson, Argell Mirendal Moses; and one God-daughter,
Charlene Roberts.
Visitation will be tomorrow at Crain and Sons Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Wake service will be tomorrow from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Live Oak United
Methodist Church in Angie.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Bruce
L. Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Angie.
