Son of Max Wilhelm and Rachel Tiba Boone Koblentz. Youngest of seven; twin of Sanford O. Koblentz. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Miriam Freeman and Betty Amder, and brother Maurice Koblentz. Father of three. Grandfather of two.

Married (1) Janet Dragin. Married (2) Mary J. Monnette.

Also survived by sisters Nan Koblentz of Beachwood, Evelyn Gale Amder (Bel Air, California) and brother Stanford O. of Lyndhurst, Ohio. Also survived by niece and nephews.

Attorney at Law, JD from Western Reserve Law School. He vowed to become a lawyer after an instructor told him that he could never be an attorney because of a slight speech problem. Provided legal services to any and all - he was a believer in the right of all America citizens to a fair hearing and trial before the court. He instilled that faith in the law to his sons and all who would listen.

Founding member of Brith Emeth Temple, later serving as a trustee. An avid golfer, he was a member of Beechmont Country Club. Service to Country in WWII, stateside. An employee of the United States Department of Justice, his first assignment was to help to shut down the Tule Lake Internment Camp in California. He was so appalled by what he saw and the conditions that Americans were forced to live in that he vowed to work to never let that happen again in the U.S. Following the assignment, he resigned from the DOJ and established his own law practice.

He died in Palm Beach County Florida in 1995.
