Funeral arrangements still are incomplete for Sam H. McClure, 57, Dallas, formerly of Fort Worth who was fatally injured Saturday whe he fell from the 3rd floor of the Baker Hotel in Dallas. The body is being held at the Robertson Mueller Harper chapel pending the arrival of a son and daughter.

McClure was the chief engineer of the Hotel Texas from the time it was opened until the Baker was opened in Dallas. He was transferred there as chief engineer. He has lived in Fort Worth and its vicinity more than 45 years.

He was a member of Travis Ave. Baptist Church when he was in Fort Worth and was the chairman of the congregation's building committee.

Surviving relatives are his wife, three sons; S. H. McClure Jr., Los Angeles, Calif., John Edwin and Walter Woodrow McClure of Dallas. Also are three daughters; Mrs. Adrienne Truax, Los Angeles, Miss Gladys McClure, Dallas. His mother, Mrs. Joseph McClure lives on Burleson Rd. just outside the city limits. There are 4 brothers: W. V. McClure of Dallas, W. M. McClure and Oscar McClure of Fort Worth, John McClure of Caddo. There are 4 sisters: Mrs. C. A. Douglas, Mrs. W. Kickle, Miss Maude McClure, Miss Amanda McClure, all of Fort Worth. There are two granddaughters.

The funeral was held Thursday, afternoon, August 16, 1928 at Travis Ave., Baptist Church. The body lay in state at the home of his brother W. M. McClure at 1425 Fairmont.

Pall bearers were: Jim Bowden, Dallas, Bill Spreight, Dallas, John Butler, Dallas, C. M. Scott, Fort Worth, Howard Elvon, Fort Worth and Ernest Stallings, Fort Worth.
