Mrs. Canova, the wife of William Canova, died at her residence on Stockton Street, this city, shortly before the hour of noon on Tuesday. Complications of childbirth caused the death. Deceased was 19 years of age and before her marriage was Irene Rouse. The announcement that her life was despaired of brought many of her relatives to this city, and on Wednesday they accompanied the remains to Coulterville where the funeral was held.
