Professional Football Player. For twelve seasons (1954 to 1965), he played at the left-linebacker, right-linebacker and defensive end positions in the National Football League with the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings and Los Angeles Rams. Born Clifford Lyman Livingston, he attended Montebello High School in California and following graduation, he served with the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his return home, he enrolled at Orange Coast Junior College before transferring to UCLA, where he concluded his collegiate football career. Signed as a non-drafted player, he appeared in 136 career regular season games achieving All-Pro status in 1961. Livingston was a member of the 1956 NFL Champion Giants' squad, and was part of three more Giants' teams that reached the NFL Championship Game (1958, 1959 and 1961). This included what was dubbed "The Greatest Game Ever Played": the 1958 NFL Title Game in which the Baltimore Colts defeated the New York Giants 23 to 17 in sudden-death. Following his football career, he found work as a Hollywood stuntman.
