HICKS - Hugh Bascom, route 6, died Wednesday. Survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Hicks; six daughters, Mrs. Mary Little, Mrs. Alma Salmons, Miss Ada Louise Hicks, Mrs. Virginia Roark, Mrs. Margaret Daniel, all of Dallas; Mrs. Katherine Taylor, for Worth; four sons, Henry, Hugh and John, all of Dallas; Jack Hicks Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, John H. Hicks; twenty-three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Services Friday 2 p.m., Chapel of Ed. C. Smith & Bro. Mortuary, Rev. Clinton I. Bowen officiating. Interment Mount Calvary. Pallbearers; Grady Little, Clyde Whitson, Edward Salmons, Thomas Terry, Herbert Lusk, Willie Dee Lusk. Arrangements with Ed C. Smith & Bro. Mortuary Ltd. Ross at St. Paul. C-9277.
