Ole A. Wold, who for the past twenty years has been a resident of this township, living about a mile northeast of this village, died after a short sickness, Tuesday of this week. He was stricken with an apoplectic stroke Saturday evening while walking across his kitchen floor which paralized his entire right side. He was taken to bed and while he somewhat improved from the stroke afterwards he began sinking Monday night and Tuesday morning died.
Mr. Ward was 62 years and 9 months of age and leaves seven children by his first marriage and an infant son with his present wife. Mr. Carl Wold of this village is his eldest son. John is in Klondike and Ole at Ashland, Wis., but was unable to attend the funeral, having sickness in his own family.
The funeral is held today from the Lutheran church here, Rev. Hanson officiating.
