Lynn passed away at the young age of 49 after battling heart disease for 20 years. Her smile and presence graced everyone she met and talked to. She is the daughter of Ira Dean and Clara Marie (TenEyck) Allen. Lynn married Don Simon on June 22 and was a loving wife for 30 years. She was a perfect mother to Ken for 28 years and was a proud and fantastic "grammie" to her only grandchild, JD, for a very short time of 17 months. She is the sister of Daniel Allen (Graytown, OH), and Brenda (Allen) Russell (Sandusky, OH). Family and friends were definitely the most fulfilling aspect of her life. Lynn had and still remains to have so many friends because of her passion for life and her striving ability to make any person feel loved and comforted . No person that she came across felt uncomfortable or threatened because of her enduring passion for a loving family and/or friendship. She will be remembered as a compassionate individual who could brighten anyone's day just by the mere thought of her bright smile that was so contagious. If there was anything that she could do to help someone, it would be done without hesitation. What was hers turned out to be everyone elses. In fact, I think it's very ironic that she passed away from heart disease because a piece of her heart was given to everyone who crossed her path. With that being in mind, there was nothing left for her to give. She always was and always will be the number one woman in my life. So, thank you for taking the time to read about this incredible woman who I love with all my heart and the one I'm so very proud to call....
