Funeral services for Olivia Barrett Linfield, 85, of Lexington were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14 from Southern Funeral Home chapel in Lexington with Rev. Andy Ray officiating. Interment followed in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Lexington.
Mrs. Linfield died at Methodist Hospital of Middle Mississippi in Lexington on Friday, December 13. She was a native of Holmes County, a retired civil service worker, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington. She had lived in Gulfport until she returned to Lexington in 1970.
Survivors include two daughters -Ann Petty of Salado, Texas and Mary Harpole of Smyrna, Tennessee; two brothers - Pat Barrett Sr. and Will Barrett, both of Lexington; one sister - Mrs. Rachel Thompson of Lexington; six grandchildren; and thirteen great- grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Petty, Stephen Petty, Pat Barrett, Jr., Don Barrett, Richard Barrett, and A.B. Holder.
