Karen Jean Beltz, 53, a resident of Taycheedah, passed away unexpectedly April 5, 2010 at her home. She was born January 16, 1957 in Denver, CO. a daughter of Ronald and Roanne Wolfert Newhouse. On October 29, 1987 she married Edward John Beltz in Fond du Lac.

Karen attended Beaver Dam High School and Moraine Park Technical College with an emphasis on accounting. She was employed by Farrell's Country Store from 1985 until its closing. Karen later worked for Shopko, and for the last 10 years enjoyed working for Johnson Bus driving special education students. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, an active member of the Fond du Lac County Radio Emergency Associated Communication Teams, the Fond du Lac Amateur Radio Club and was a volunteer with the American Red Cross.

She was preceded in death by her son Mark Newhouse on June 6, 1995 and her father Ronald Newhouse.
