Brothers Roman, Raul and Fernando Abundiz died on August 2, 2009 near Rimrock Lake.

Roman was born Sept. 10, 1984 in Yakima. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was looking forward to re-listing and serving in Iraq. Roman was full of life and love, liked to play matchmaker and considered himself "Cupid".

Raul was born Sept. 9, 1993. He loved to dance, play football and practical jokes.

Fernando was born Nov. 28, 1997. He enjoyed baking cakes for his family. Fernando wanted to be a boxer.

All the brothers were very close and enjoyed spending time and eating with family and friends.

Survivors of the brothers include their parents, Oscar and Rosa Abundiz of Yakima; brother, Eduardo Abundiz of Yakima; and Roman's wife, Yesenia Verduzco of Yakima.

Rosary services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug 13 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held at the Church one hour before the Rosary (2:00 p.m.). Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial following at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Arrangements are in the care of Keith & Keith Funeral Home.
