Mrs. Ethela Singleton Pentz, 63, of Memphis, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1990, at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She had a long career as a registered nurse, working in several different, Memphis, hospitals. She was better known to her co-workers and close friends, by her nickname "Boots".
She was a member of the American Nurses Association and the Tennessee State Nurses Association. She was also a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.
She leaves her husband, Jack H. Pentz; a daughter, Mrs. Jacqueline P. Watkins, and her Mother, Mrs. Mable B. Singleton.
