Forrest died at his brothers ranch from a heart attack, he had a good day with his brother and cousin. I don't think he ever knew when he fell off his motorcycle, he had only gone a few feet, fell and the bike kept going. Frosty as I have always called him was a very happy person such a loving Husband, Father, & Grandfather. He graduated from North West Classen High School in 1957. one year at Southwestern State College, Weatherford Oklahoma, then Oklahoma State University. He worked for Central Fixtures Mfg Co.(TG&Y) in the summer & during holidays. Forrest was drafted into the United States Army on October 1,1961, basic training at Ft Carson, Colorado, tour of duty in Korea, last six months at Ft Sill, Oklahoma, served two more years active reserve, two years inactive reserve, honorable discharge 1968. On October 1, 1963 he was discharged from active duty & went back to work for TG&Y & we were married October 23, 1963. In 1967 he became a installation engineer traveling the U.S. installing TG&Y stores. 1973 he became a Wholesale Representative for Bassett Furniture, covering Eastern Oklahoma & one third of Western Arkansas. In 1983 he wanted to spend more time with his family & became manager of Kib Warrens Furniture, & Retired from Marquis Furniture. His parents Charley Edward Best And Esther Josephine Cooper Best, proceeded him in death. Survived by Wife Kay, Daughters & Sons-in-law Tami & Chuck, Keli & Darin, Son Sean & Wife Regina. Grandfather of Stephanie, Lauren, Garreth, Meghan, Kayla, Kristen, Brother of Glenn & Pauletta. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. I AM ALWAYS WITH YOU When I am gone, release me, let me go.I have so many things to see and do,You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,But be thankful we had so many good years. I gave you my love, and you can only guess How much you've given me in happiness.I thank you for the love that you have shown, But now it is time I traveled on alone. So grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust That it is only for a while that we must part, So treasure the memories within your heart. I won't be far away for life goes on. And if you need me, call and I will come.
