Spc. Justin B. Shoecraft, 28, of Elkhart, Ind., died Aug. 24 at Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan, of wounds sustained when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device at Kakarak, Afghanistan. He was assigned to the 1st Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany. He leaves to survive his legacy his wife, Jessica Shoecraft; parents, Donna and Blue Shoecraft; 2 siblings; and a host of extended relatives and beloved friends.
