Daughter of Oliver Cromwell. She was the third daughter of Oliver Cromwell, English Military and political figure, and his wife Elizabeth Bourchier. Her christened was recorded as being on February 9, 1637. On November 19, 1657, she married a loyal political ally to her father, Thomas Belasyse, 1st Earl Fauconbery at Hampton Court, thus becoming Countess Fauconberg. Thomas Belayse was an only son; he and Mary had no children ending the earldom upon this his death.
