Mrs. Beulah Beatty, 74, who resided at Mammoth from 1920 to 1938 and since 1962 made her home in Livingston died Sunday morning in a local rest home after an extended illness. The Rev. Josephine Wilson, Unity Truth Center, conducted services Tuesday afternoon at the Franzen chapel. Burial was in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Beatty was born Oct 28, 1894, at Humbolt, Iowa, to Clayton Clark and Sadie Mae Graves. She spent her early life in Humbolt and received her education there. On September 22, 1913, she married Roy L Beatty at Seneca, Nebraska. The family moved to Mammoth in 1920 and resided there until moving to California in 1938. Her husband died in California in 1959. She was a member of the Unity Truth Center here.

Surviving are a son Jack D Beatty of Manhattan Beach, Ca.; a daughter, Mrs. Villis L. Miller of Concord, Ca.; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Betty Perkins Beatty of Livingston; a sister, Mrs. Enid Kimball of Las Vegas, Nevada; five grandchildren, Vernon, Leona, and Doug Beatty of Livingston, and Michelle and Steve Miller in California, and two nieces.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Curtis Clark Beatty, a daughter, Cleo Elaine Beatty, and a sister, Aileen (Clark)Chamberlain.
