Mrs. Della Lee Shelby Ashcraft, 74, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, died Sunday night October 21, 1972 at Davis Hospital, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

She was born on February 27, 1897 to the late William Jinkinson "Jenks" Shelby and Margaret " Maggie" Tucker Shelby.

She was the widow of Henry Hattie Ashcraft who died in 1971.

A native of Cleveland County, she was a member of the Rowell Assembly of God Church.

Preceded her in death was her parents, and her husband, Henry Hattie Ashcraft., and a son Troy H. Ashcraft.

Survivors include Mrs. Ruby Mitchell of Houston Texas, Mrs. Robbie Koonce, Mrs. Lois Spakes, & Mrs. Margie Floyd all of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, two brothers; Irvin Shelby of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Willie Shelby of Warren, Arkansas, 8 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Tuesday at Center Missionary Baptist Church of Rowell Community, Cleveland County, Arkansas, by the Reverend Harold Thompson, Reverend John Trotter and Reverend Howard Upson.

Burial will be in the Rowell Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Rison, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be R. L. Jacks, Homer Johnson, C. A. Ashcraft, Ray Jacks, Owen Ashcraft, Donald Norton, Ed Reap and H. C. Reed. OBIT provided by Linda Newman
