Born on July 12, 1920, in Bedford , to Albert and Carrie Ida Aikman Davis, she was employed with the U. S. Forest Service in Bedford . She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sisters, Ruth Davis of Bedford and Mrs. Amiel (Helen) Miller of New Albany, IN; two sons, William H. Abbott of Bedford and Charles G. Abbott of Elko , Nevada ; four grandchildren. A brother, Edgar, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with William H. Abbott officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery . Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary after 6 p.m. Saturday.
