Actor. Appeared on television in motion pictures and in the theatre. Best known for being the host of television game show "What's My Line?" from 1972 to 1975. He won a Tony award in 1972 for his performance in the play "A Funny Thing Happened To Me On The Way To The Forum." In 1975 he was preparing to start a new game show for ABC when he went to Morocco on vacation and was involved in a car accident. He suffered tremendous wounds and, after lingering for a week, died in June 1975.
