United States Postal Carrier. Believed to be the first female letter carrier murdered in the line of duty. In August 1985, Congress authorized a name change of the post office where she was based from Westchase Rogerdale Station to the Debora Sue Schatz Station. In January 2001, a new 34,000 sq. ft. post office was dedicated to replace the old building. A memorial to Debora is located inside the new post office.
