Murder Victim. One of the victims of the DC Beltway Sniper, he was killed on a street corner while walking to the bus station. A 1964 immigrant, he moved into his Petworth neighborhood almost three decades ago with his wife and five children. He kept the row-house decorated with potted flowers and grew tomatoes and bell peppers in a small garden. He was a carpenter and handyman and, although retired, would often help his neighbors by doing rehabs free-of-charge.
