Film Director, Actor. From 1905 to 1908 he toured with the Ben Greet Shakespearean Repertory Company and from 1915 to 1923 he appeared on Broadway. He directed the plays "The Perfect Alibi" (1928) and "Penny Arcade" (1930). His film credits are "Each Dawn We Die" (1939), "Easy To Love" (1934), "The Man Who Came To Dinner" (1941) and "Street With No Name" (1948). Keighley also made military training films and became head of Lux Radio Theater after Cecil B. DeMille left the post. The death year on his burial plaque is incorrectly shown as 1983.
