Angel was a New York City Fire Department, Ladder 12, Firefighter. He appeared on the FOX television's reality based show, "Murder In Small Town X" (2001), where contestants had to solve a fictional murder in order to win the grand prize. Juarbe was the big cash prize winner, but two weeks later he died. On September 11, 2001, he was a firefighter at the World Trade Center in New York City. He died as he was helping people out of the Marriott Hotel when Tower 1 collapsed all around them.
