French Military Officer. He is remembered of his part of the Seven Years War or in America, the French and Indian War. He was Knight of the Royal and Military Order of Saint-Louis.

Born on March 2, 1718 in Roquefort, close to Mount-of-Marsan . Having joined voluntarily the King's Regiment in 1730, he became sergeant in 1737. At the same time, he was promoted as second lieutenant on March 6, 1745 and was received his incorporation into the Regiment of La Sarre. He obtained a lieutenancy on September 25, 1745. He was promoted captain of a company of riflemen on June 15, 1754.

In 1759, Lévis, his commander had recommended him in these words: "Is useful since 1736 in quality of soldier, sergeant or officer in the King's Regiment or in the Regiment of La Sarre. He is an officer of merit; on the Plains of Abraham and this campaign (Sainte-Foy), he was in command of a corps of volunteers; he was very useful and serves with all the possible zeal."

Mortally wounded in Sainte-Foy, he died this same day on April 28, 1760. He is buried in the cemetery of the General Hospital of Quebec, which a part is called "Cemetery of the Heroes," becoming in 2001 the Memorial of the Seven Years War.
