Professional Boxer. Called the "Fighting Frenchman", he fought for the heavyweight championship title in 1980 but lost to Larry Holmes. He also fought George Foreman, Ken Norton and Leon Spinks. In his nine-year career his overall record was 33 wins, 13 losses and 4 draws with 22 knockouts. After retiring from the ring he worked as a boxing analyst for ESPN and was twice elected Anoka County Commissioner. LeDoux died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
