US Congressman. Served in the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War. Elected to represent New Hampshire as At-Large in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1807 to 1809. Also served as a Delegate to the New Hampshire State Constitutional Convention in 1790, Member of the New Hampshire State House of Representatives from 1803 to 1804, and Member of the New Hampshire State Senate for the 12th District from 1806 to 1807.
