Colorado Governor. He served as the 19th Governor of Colorado from 1913 to 1915. He also served as the State's Lieutenant Governor in 1904 and 1906, as a member of the Colorado State Senate and the State House of Representatives, and as Speaker of the Colorado State House of Representatives. He was the father of Colorado Governor Teller Ammons.
