MARION - Mrs. Elizabeth Godbold Blue, widow of the late William Evans Blue, of Marion, died at the home of her sister, Miss Viola Godbold, at Centenary at 5 o'clock this morning. Her death followed a stroke of apoplexy.
Funeral services will be held at the Godbold home Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock and interment will follow immediately afterwards at Centenary church cemetery.
Mrs. Blue is survived by two sisters, Misses Eula and Viola Godbold of Centenary; several nieces and nephews; and a large family connection.
