US Congressman. Served in the United States Army during World War II. Elected to represent Connecticut's 4th District in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1961 to 1965. He was defeated in 1964. Also served as a Member of the Connecticut State Senate from 1956 to 1960, and Delegate to the Republican National Convention from Connecticut in 1964.
