Eugene Thompson attended Millsaps College two years; transferred to University of Mississippi in 1927, he received his B.A. degree there in 1930. Finishing law at Tulane in 1932, he took a position with the Federal Land Bank of New Orleans. He came to Marks on October 1, 1936, and became a member of the Boone & Thompson firm, but is now practicing alone with offices in the Judge Lowrey building.
