HELMS, Jacob George.—80, of Carmel, IN, formerly of Pittsburgh, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 21, 2003. The well-loved retired postal worker served as a Staff Sergeant in the Infantry in WW II. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Laura; their loving son, Richard, his wife Dorothea and their children, Michael and Mary Helms; as well as their devoted daughter Beth Wytiaz, her husband Ken and their children, Tom and Greg. Private funeral. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, appreciated.
