Margaret Karlovich
DSH personnel analyst enjoyed painting
Margaret Karlovich, 69, of 182 Picketts Drive, Sunbury, passed away Feb. 7, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Margaret was born in the Ashland Hospital on Sept. 21, 1942, to the late Andrew Sabol and surviving Helen (Hermanski) Sabol, and was a 1960 graduate of Mount Carmel High School. She was a member of Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg.
Margaret was married to Thomas Karlovich in 1965. She worked in Harrisburg and then Danville State Hospital as a personnel analyst for over 36 years. She enjoyed her grandchildren, liked to paint, loved rides on weekends and enjoyed sewing and cooking.
Survivors include her mother, Helen Sabol; husband, Thomas; children: Thomas A. Karlovich and wife, Lisa, of Sunbury; Jeffrey M. Karlovich and wife, Anita, of Elysburg; Mike T. Karlovich and wife, Jennifer, of Sunbury; grandchildren: Dana Rosini; Joshua, Alex, Kaitlyn, Jacoby, Hayden, Sophia and Jackson; one great-grandson, Blaze Rosini; two sisters: Jean Stankiewicz; and Nancy Anselmi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. in Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church, Elysburg, with Father Al Sceski officiating. Interment will be held in All Saints' Cemetery, Ralpho Township. Viewing will be held in the Ray W. Rothermel Funeral Home, Elysburg, on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30 in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Church.
