OBITUARY :
LESLIE A. "UNCIE" BARRICK, 74, of 12479 Creek Road, Fannettsburg, PA, died Sunday morning, March 18, 2012 in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born July 26, 1937, in Fannettsburg, he was a son of the late Daniel Carson and Mabel J. Nusbaum Barrick.

Leslie was a farmer all of his life and had at one time been employed by Metal Township.

He was affiliated with the Carrick United Methodist Church, and was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club. Leslie was an avid sportsman and greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed butchering.

He is survived by his life-long companion, Betty Harris; his brother, Leroy George Barrick of Fannettsburg; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Agett-Geisel Funeral Home, 18875 Main St., Dry Run, with Pastor Philip Foster officiating. Interment will follow at the Reformed Church Cemetery, Fannettsburg.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
