He made his Major League debut for the Detroit Tigers on April 21, 1951. For two seasons, he played with the Detroit Tigers (1951-52), finishing his career with a record of 0 wins, 1 loss and a 8.56 earned run average. He died at age 79 in Houston, Texas.
