Professional Wrestling/Entertainment Promoter. Original Name: John Tunney, Jr. Jack was former promoter and president of the World Wrestling Federation, (now WWE). He was known for causing wrestlers to lose titles (by stripping them of the belts), suspending them, and making matches for TV programs, and PPVs. He retired from the WWE in the mid 1990s. In July 1984, Jack switched allegiances from the NWA and aligned himself with the WWF.
