Julia Fuentes Aviles was born February 7, 1921 in Uvalde, Texas to Maria Solis Fuentes and Margarito Fuentes. She is survived by five daughters, Delia Martinez of Plains, Texas, Marta Guerrero of Salem, Oregon, Mary Lou Ramos of Denver City, Texas, and Raquel Arreola and Maricela Rivera, both of Uvalde; five sons, Samuel Capetillo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mateo Capetillo Jr. and wife, Maria, of Conroe, Margarito Capetillo and wife, Vivian, of Modesto, California, Jose Martinez Jr. of Dallas and Franke Sotelo of Plains; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Capetillo of Indiana; 41 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francisco Aviles; and one son, Jose Luis Capetillo.
