Final Rites Are Held For Mrs. Ada Allman

Mrs. Adah V. Allman, 59, formerly Adah Cogswell and a former resident of Garrett, died at the Methodist hospital in Fort Wayne at 3 a.m. Thursday. Paralysis was the cause of death. She had been in failing health for a few months but had been a patient at the hospital only one week.

The deceased, a resident of 2433 Lillie street, Fort Wayne, lived in Fort Wayne for 10 years and at 519 South Franklin street, Garrett, for 20 years.

She was born at Pleasant Lake. Ind., to Lester and Della Cogswell, November 15, 1892. Her parents preceded her in death. On March 5, 1921, she was married to Arlington L. Allman who survives. A child preceded her in death in infancy.

She was a member of the Garrett Rebekah lodge.

The body was taken to the Geo. W. Iler mortuary, where final rites were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. F. Hazen Sparks of the Garrett Methodist church officiated and burial followed in Union cemetery, northwest of Garrett.

Members of the F. O. Eagles lodge, of which Mr. Allman is a member,served as pallbearers.
