Anthony C. "Tony" Toto, Sr., 82, died June 15, 2012, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood NH. He was born May 8, 1930, in Lynn MA, son of the late Alphonse and Laura (Ordway) Toto, and grew up in Lynn.

He enlisted in the United States Army in 1951. After the service, he owned and operated a sub shop in Lynn. He moved to Manchester NH to begin employment as a woodworker at Pilgrim Furniture in Merrimack NH. Later, he worked for Velcro USA in Manchester and retired after 18 years. Tony was a longtime resident of Manchester and also lived in Auburn NH and Nottingham NH. Tony enjoyed keeping up with current events. He liked to tinker and enjoyed making and fixing things.

Mr. Toto leaves his daughters Donna and husband Joseph Covais, and Caroline and husband Steven Welch; sons Anthony C. "Tony" Toto, Jr., and Alphonse Toto; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings Marion Cormier, Florence Miller, Robert Toto, and Vincent Toto; and several nieces and nephews.

A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, from 1 to 2 p.m., at Brewitt Funeral Home, 2 Epping Street, Raymond NH. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the New Pine Grove Cemetery in Raymond.
