Edward Berger, son of Mary Ann Woodling and James Monroe Berger, was born January 17, 1888 in Kansas and moved with his parents to Indian Territory during the opening of the Territory about 1891. His early life was spent at Cleveland, and he was married to Miss Adah Lucy Botts on November 23, 1914 at Pawnee, OK. They moved to the Yale community 55 years ago, and for the past 6 years have lived in Yale following his retirement from the farm.
