Billie David was the 3rd child born to Edward James Berger & Adah Lucy Botts. He was united in marriage to Twylla Isabell Briggs on Oct 11, 1942 in Garden City, Nevada

Billie David Berger completed high school in 1938. Worked for Henry Henson Insurance Agency until Nov 1940 then enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Was onboard U.S.S. Honolulu in Pearl Harbor during attack Dec 7, 1941. Was in many sea battles in the pacific. Recieved honorable discharge 1945. Worked for 2 drilling companies, then returned to college 1949. Employed by Cities Service Gas Co., 1951 and became dept head. 1966 went to Kuwait for Aminoil. 1970 went to Bibya for Occidental Petroleum Corp. 1972 returned to U.S.A. and took position of faculty member at Oklahoma State University. 1979 left O.S.U. to become self-employed in the consulting profession. Author of several technical books about the petroleum industry, the most popular being, "Modern Petroleum".
