Sharp, witty, intelligent lady who worked very hard, Played piano, first licensed dental assistant in Georgia.
She used to raise and show Kerry Blue Terriers. She loved dogs, and had several through the years.
Preceded in death by her son, Bobby. Survived by her daughter Mildred and four grandchildren.
She loved to travel, square dance, and entertain. She had a green thumb, and could root and grow any plant or flower. She was well known for her African Violets.
Known to her grandchildren as "Hammaw"
In many ways, she was ahead of her time. She made her own yogurt, removed the skin from chicken, etc. long before it became popular.
Dementia took it's toll. Member of Northridge Baptist Church. (formally Old East Macon Baptist).
