Dentist, decorated veteran of World War One. A road in Wilkinson County is named after him.

He graduated from Southern Dental college in Atlanta May 15, 1913. He entered the United States Army October 11, 1917 as a first Lieutenant, and served in the Dental Corps attached to the 319th Artillery. He was discharged as a Captain June 10, 1919, and was a Major in the reserves for twenty years.

He married Vira Lee Lewis of Waycross, Ga. on December 14, 1922, and adopted a son, Lewis Summerlin Hall.

Fred was a member of Matilda Chapel Methodist Church at Stevens Pottery.
