Born on December 16, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Claude Irvin Slife and Rosemarie Catherine Good Slife. She has resided in this area for thirty years. She was a homemaker. She also was a member of Hospice of Charles County, former member of St. Charles Women's Club and Waldorf Lioness. She enjoyed ceramics and craft work.
She was the beloved wife of Oliver H. Wells, Jr. Sister of Katherine Jones, and Marie, Louis and Claude Andrew Slife.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. in The Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2004 in First Baptist Church of Waldorf, 10045 Bunker Hill Rd., Waldorf, MD. Randy Stacks will be officiating. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
