Daughter of John Thomas Blank and Matilda Charlotte Kleen.

Paternal grandparents: Thomas T. Blank b. September 6, 1850 and Rachel J. Dierks b. June 3, 1850.

Maternal grandparents: Harm G. Kleen b. March 21, 1853 and Anna Marie Griebel b. January 8, 1841.

Died during the Spanish influenza epidemic. Nine of ten members of the family became ill. All survived except Edna.
