Martha was a daughter of the late Jacob and Lillie Mae Mims Bilton.
She was the widow of Lawrence Robert Britt and was also preceded in death by a son, John Allen Britt, and is survived by five daughters, Lillie Britt Ford Brinker of Summerville, Elizabeth Britt Alexander of Goose Creek, Louise Britt Brown of Meridian, MS, Patricia Britt Browder of Summerville, and Delores Britt Hawkes Roberts of Columbus, OH; a son, Robert Gene Britt of Charleston; a sister, Myrtle Roberson of Hanahan; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
