Anthony Lee Vos died in a crash caused by a reckless motorcycle driver on June 17, 2005. He had just completed 7th grade at South O'Brien, and was already looking forward to entering the eighth grade.

He loved working hard and playing hard—skateboarding, building ramps, building models, playing video games, pulling pranks, reading, hanging out with friends, entertaining his younger cousins, teasing his brother, traveling, being outdoors, playing and composing music on his electric guitar, and enjoying many other interests. His favorite author was Gary Paulsen. He had an artistic eye and was developing a talent for taking pictures and creating videos.

This spring, he started a job with his dad and frequently talked about how much he enjoyed working with all the guys at JTV. Anthony was filled with curiosity, always wanted to know about things, and always seemed to enjoy a little mischievous fun with family and friends.

Anthony was born in Sheldon, Iowa on September 30, 1991 and has lived in Hull, Jacksonville, NC; Sanborn, and currently Sutherland, Iowa. He is survived by his parents, Rian & Gwen Vos; a younger brother, Evan; grandparents, Aldon & Jan Kuiper, Dan & Janice Wimmer; great grandparents: Caroline Kuiper, Ben Bosman, Henry & Wilma Lode, Harlan & Maggie Doorenbos, Barney & Megs Wimmer; uncles and aunts: Bruce & Nicki Kuiper, Justin & Sheri VerSteeg, & Tish Wimmer; cousins Benjamin, Lindsay, Tessa, Gabriel, Kennedi.
