Socialite and author of Jackson, Mississippi. She was the only daughter of Clara Frances McKey and Robert Burr Mims and the wife of prominent Jackson, Mississippi dentist William Richard Wright. Mrs. Wright was very proud of her southern Scots Irish family. She was a member of The National Genealogical Association of Washington, D.C., the Society of Colonial Dames of America, Daughters of The American Revolution, United States Daughters of 1812, and United Daughters of the Confederacy.

In 1911 Mrs. Wright published her "A record of the descendants of Isaac Ross and Jean Brown." This book focuses on the Alexander, Conger, Harris, Hill, King,Killingsworth, Mackey,Moores, Ross and Wade families and so doing sheds light on hundreds or maybe thousands of other surnames related to or descended from the aforementioned families. The book did not win a Pulitzer prize but is an invaluable tool for those it relates to. Quite an amazing book when you consider it is written in a time when there weren't computers and telephone service was in it's infancy.

Thank you Mrs. Wright for writing such a comprehensive interesting book.
