A graveside service was held Thursday, Aug. 14, at Tehachapi Public Cemetery, Westside for Sharon Kay Milligan, 46, who passed away in Tehachapi on Aug. 12.
Sharon was born on Dec. 3, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Charles and Virginia Woodcock. She was married to Timothy Milligan on July 24, 1993 at the Stallion Springs Resort in Tehachapi.
She moved to the Tehachapi area in 1992 and worked as a waitress at the Horsethief Country Club in Stallion Springs for the past 11 years. Sharon loved to fish, camp and golf. She and her husband Tim did everything together.
She was a very "giving person" who had an incredible number of true friends who will miss her greatly. As her husband reflects on her life, he speaks of being blessed for having her in his life.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Timothy R. Milligan of Tehachapi; sons, Gabriel England of San Luis Obispo and Kyle England of San Diego; parents, Charles and Virginia Woodcock of Green Valley, Ariz.; brothers, Neil Woodcock of Lancaster and Dana Woodcock of Los Angeles.
Reverend John Gollnick officiated at the service. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the arrangements.
