William Wallace Williams IV was born in Birmingham, Alabama. Son of Mary Elizabeth Norment Willams and William Wallace Williams III. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war. Married Wanda L. Bowerman in 1962, and had twin children born in 1964. He was a loving father, music junkie, train lover, sports fan and philosophy nut.
