Hannah was born to Anthony Lee Smallwood and Debra (Davidson) Smallwood. She was a member of the sophomore class of Carthage Senior High School where she was active in softball, swimming and track. She loved horseback riding and snow skiing. She attended the First United Methodist Church, Carthage.
Survivors include her parents, Andy and Debra Smallwood, Carthage; one brother, Matthew Clayton Smallwood, Pittsburg, Kansas; and her paternal grandmother, Betty Smallwood, Carthage. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, James R. Smallwood; and her maternal grandparents, Dale and Florence Davidson.
Private family graveside services were held Monday at Park Cemetery, Carthage. A celebration of the life of Hannah Leigh Smallwood was held Monday, Dec. 11, at Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Carthage R-9 Foundation. Arrangements were under the direction of Knell Mortuary, Carthage.
